Can I two tone all your products?

We’re big fans of the two-tone trend! However, since this technique gained popularity after we started designing, some of our earlier designs may not be perfectly suited for this decorating style. If you’re unsure, be sure to check the item description or feel free to reach out—we’re always happy to help you choose the perfect stamp for your needs!

What fondant do you recommend?

We’ll admit it—we have a favourite! Queens Fondant is our top choice for the best fondant in the business. While we’re not big fans of pre-colored fondant, we absolutely love using Colour Mill and Vivid Coloured Gels to mix up the perfect shade every time.

What are your top tips for two toning?

Achieving the perfect two-tone effect comes down to three key factors: your environment, your fondant, and properly prepping your stamp. Here are our top tips:

  1. Prep Your Stamp: Lightly dust your stamp with cornflour using a fluffy brush, ensuring all the small details are evenly coated. This prevents sticking and ensures clean impressions.
  2. Choose the Right Fondant: Fresh fondant works best, with a consistency that’s soft and pliable, like playdough.
  3. Control Your Environment:
  • Keep the room cool—turn on the air conditioning if needed.
  • Always cover your fondant when not in use to prevent it from drying out.
  • Wear gloves to avoid transferring your body heat, which can cause the fondant to sweat or stick to your hands.
